Rescue Food, Feed People

Each year in the United States, we waste 133 billion pounds of food. That equals 40% of all food produced. Meanwhile, 1 in 6 Americans doesn’t know where their next meal will come from.

Do you find this issue concerning? We do too!

This is a community meeting (open the to the public!) for people passionate about reducing food waste. We'll discuss ways we can help potentially wasted food reach people in Durham who can eat it. Bring your thoughts, ideas, knowledge, and questions about food waste and recovery!
